4 Octave 96 Key Array Mbira – Angled body

This Array Mbira features a two-octave repeating layout spanning a four-octave range from C2 to B5, providing a versatile pitch range for a wide variety of music.

Designed for both beginners and experienced players, the instrument is available with two soundboard options: Sitka spruce delivers a bright, clear tone with crisp articulation, while mahogany offers a warmer, softer sound with rich resonance.

This version features a re-engineered angled body with a parallelogram side profile, reducing the overall body size by approximately 10% while preserving its tonal depth and structural integrity. The result is a more compact and portable Array Mbira with a refined architectural form.

*The product shown features a mahogany soundboard with a satin finish. The natural grain and character of the wood make each instrument subtly unique.

Each instrument features a handcrafted shell inlay logo. We’re happy to explore custom shell inlay details upon request.

A custom aluminum flight case is included at no additional cost for secure transport and everyday storage.
